We are looking for an exceptional Filmmaker and Video Editor to join the Bitstocks and CARSnCRYPTO team.

Established in 2014, Bitstocks is London’s first Bitcoin and cryptocurrency market advisory firm with the primary objective to simplify cryptocurrency investment and provide the services for investors to be able to confidently and safely secure and grow their cryptocurrency wealth. Distributed on YouTube and other social platforms CARSnCRYPTO is a passion project made up of members of the Bitstocks team and it showcases their love and adoration for all things supercars. The project documents new super car purchases, in depth thoughts, reviews and opinions,follows them on their road trips around England, Europe and beyond and tackles various motoring related challenges along the way. The CARSnCRYPTO end goal…? Imagine what you wish Top Gear still was while building a strong community of like minded individuals.

Editor for Bitstocks TV & CARSnCRYPTO

Bitstocks & CARSnCRYPTO are looking for a talented Filmmaker and Video Editor to join the creative team. As part of the team you will be working with a passionate team of people in the Cryptocurrency and Supercar industries.

As a filmmaker and Video Editor, you should be able to bring sight and sound together in order to tell a cohesive story.

Your role will include:

  • Work closely with Creative Directors, Other filmmakers/editors, Marketing Department and creative teams to interpret ideas and offer concepts and solutions to create high end content.
  • Demonstrate a constant development of skills and exploration of new techniques to implement within the media department.
  • Work with the Operations Director and Post Production Manager to ensure the smooth running of the day-to-day operations of the department.
  • Oversee the output of freelance and junior editors to ensure the highest quality output is maintained across the department.
  • Help manage, develop and train the junior members of the department; taking responsibility for their creative output and workflows.
  • Constantly look to improve methods and way of working.
  • Work closely with Producers/Managers to help ensure projects stay on schedule and in budget.
  • Analyse all delivery specs, ensuring all projects are delivered to exemplary standards.
  • Archive all projects, rushes and raw footage and help to enforce media management across the department.

Key Skills: 

  • Extensive experience of filmmaking and editing.
  • Innovative and creatively minded that’s able to comfortably work solo or as part of a larger team.
  • Excellent knowledge of Premiere Pro and all Windows based Adobe CC products.
  • Excellent knowledge of After Effects would be a bonus. A very basic knowledge is required.
  • Solid knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • A solid understanding of end-to-end post production workflow and excellent technical knowledge.
  • Colour grading/colour correction skills.
  • Good knowledge of audio both VO recording and sound design, full understanding of codecs and complex delivery.
  • Understanding of usage and clearance requirements for music, images and footage.
  • A fair knowledge and understanding of industry standard cameras and associated production techniques. Particularly Sony Alpha, Canon DSLRs

Who We're Looking For:

  • 3+ years experience – formal education is a plus but not essential. We appreciate and know talent when we see it.
  • Complete understanding of the English language, both written and spoken.
  • Personal eagerness to serve as part of a growing company; willingness to work in an all-hands-on-deck environment.


  • Travel: Depending on your skillset, this role allows the opportunity to travel around the country, within Europe and beyond.

  • This role will suit a well rounded filmmakers with solid strength in all areas from filming, through to colour correction, editing, storytelling and anything else needed to complete a project solo.
